Many of us are taught throughout our lives that pain is normal. That we just need to ‘push through’. We go to the doctor and are brushed off, not listened to. Maybe given another pill that only somewhat helps. What about getting to the root of the issue? How would your life change if you believed that your pain could be solved, that our bodies are here to help and support our dreams rather than be a burden holding us back? ”I came to Willow Therapies after seeing a few Instagram posts. I had been struggling for 10 years with hormonal migraines, that intensified with menopause. Christine was my last hope in a line of therapies that did not relieve any of the painful migraines. I can honestly say after the first 3 months of treatments, I had gone from barely surviving each day to slowly noticing that the headaches were decreasing. After a year and half of treatments I can say that I am not just surviving but thriving each and every day. From daily headaches to one very manageable headache every once in a while. I am just so grateful to have Christine in my life.”
”I’ve had several treatments with Christine, her positive energy and compassionate manner made it a very relaxing experience! Her passion for health and wellness is evident in her practice. She takes the time to listen to clients and shares her knowledge of how she can best help them.”
“Christine is a dream – kind, caring, compassionate, and knowledgable… Christine was committed to my well being, paying attention to my cycle, following up with me, nudging me to keep going, and doing it all with such gentle kindness and compassion. Highly recommend.”
”Thank you so much for today. I feel a lot better. Now my head just feels tired instead of having a migraine, and I didn’t know what I was experiencing. So thank you so much for your magic!”

I grew up with a parent that had many quite severe migraines. I watched the symptoms, and already developing a drive to work as a healer, I tried to help. At the time I couldn’t and I felt so helpless. I wasn’t suffering from migraines myself, yet. It wasn’t until my cycle returned after the birth of my first child that I had my first full blown migraine. 2 days before ovulation. Textbook fatigue, followed by light and noise sensitivity, and a pounding head that wouldn’t let up for 2 days. I knew exactly what it was, and having grown up watching my mother’s struggle, it scared me.
First, I went to my usually wonderful doctor, where I was simply told to take more Advil and come back for stronger meds if the migraines got worse.
However, by that point in my life I had already been working in complimentary health care as a Reflexology Therapist and was drawn towards modalities and courses that might unlock how to best support the root cause of migraines.
AWARENESS & ACUTE RELIEF
We begin with an in-depth consultation, where we get an initial assessment of where to focus ongoing support, and create a plan for the 12 weeks together.
I provide guided support for any acute symptoms or migraine attacks. Working together to find what practices work best for you.
Did you know 80% of those who get migraines experience ‘early warning signs’ up to 48 hrs before an attack? We begin to bring awareness through journaling and communication to identify these signs and any lifestyle and diet factors that may affect your migraines.
IMPLEMENTATION AND ASSESSMENT
By this time, you have usually seen some changes to your health and threshold for developing migraines. By 4 -5 weeks in you will have learned your prodromal symptoms and developed techniques to prevent migraines from developing or reducing severity when identified early.
In this stage we assess what the awareness journaling has shown us, how well current changes are working, and decide what changes and supports to focus on implementing.
In this stage we continue to grow and support your library of mind-body practices to best suit your needs.
INTEGRATION
Now, knowing what your personal migraine factors are, and having raised your migraine threshold in the previous 8 weeks, we have the space and time to dial in on what we’ve learned.
What is helping to reduce symptoms? What may need to be a long term change? What can be eased back into regular practice.
This stage is about making sure you have the tools and practices to prevent migraines long term, and if they do begin to build to have the knowledge to identify and stop the migraines before they can fully develop. Repetitive builds reflex, and managing migraines can become second-nature.
You’ve unlocked your inner healer!

Like most of us, I was using hormonal birth control for most of my 20s. It always felt like something was off. I had some excess weight and bloating that I couldn’t shake. My moods seemed a little off. And my body just didn’t feel quite ‘right’. Then one day I was introduced to ‘Taking Charge of Your Fertility’ by Tori Weschler. It was like the wool being lifted off my eyes. I began to work WITH my cycle, tracking it to have control over MY reproductive health. Without hormonal birth control I had more energy, my body dropped those extra 15 pounds, and I realized we have an inner superpower. The ebbs and flows of our cycle can be cooperated with for amazing results.
Ultimately this experience changed my path in life, adding to my drive to pursue a healing profession, and ultimately pursing training in Reproductive Health Support.
I’ve tracked my cycle for over 12 years now, found relief from my own PMS symptoms, and helped support dozens of clients to have more regular, pain-free cycles. Even those with PCOS, Fibroids, Cysts, and more.
Ready to make a change, reach out now! I’d love to hear from you.
I want to see transformation and better health in my clients more than anything else. If you aren’t seeing any positive changes partway through an 8 or 12 week program, I will refund any payments other than the initial deposit amount.
The food we eat has a very important effect on our overall health, and the effects of chronic pain conditions. I am trained in nutrition to support hormonal health, and will touch on diet and foot triggers when working with clients. However, as I am not a trained nutritionist or dietician in complex cases I may recommend you seek additional help in this area. Whether the nutritional advice comes from me or a more specialized professional I will help you develop routines to better stick to your health goals.
I offer flexible payment plans to meet your needs. Typically these end up being monthly payments or payment in full but I’m happy to make arrangements that work for you.
Every session starts with a quick time to connect, get a focus on the goal for the session, and settle into a relaxed state. From there, every session can be different based on the clients needs. I’ve had some sessions where we’ve spoken about lifestyle factors, diet, stress, and set up a plan going forward to manage this. A more ‘brain and thought’ focused approach. I’ve had other sessions where we’ve moved into guided reflexology, movement, breathwork, and facial massage practices – perhaps to lessen a building migraine or ease those Day 1 period cramps. Helping you to feel good – right away! And if desired we can even move into some body awareness or energetic healing. I’ve seen some amazing effects in a short time with these types of sessions.
The truth is, it’s often a blend of tools, coaching, and modalities to give a holistic approach to support you where you are at as a client.
Migraines are a complex symptom of an imbalance in your body. Often keeping those who get migraines stuck in a cycle of pain and fatigue that continues to repeat. The way I work is to help break this cycle, and breathwork, mindfulness, and grounding practices are powerful tools to help shift the body out of the pain and fatigue enough that we can begin to look at what is at the root of the migraines themselves.
Many of my clients are on preventative or acute medications prescribed by their medical professional. Reflexology, movement, and mindfulness based support is a complimentary therapy and in no way will have a negative interaction with any existing medications. I recommend all clients check with their medical professional before making changes to current medication protocols. If there are dietary recommendations in most cases this is ok but clients will be encouraged to double check if there is any doubt.
I find most clients start to notice some improvement in their pain and health in as little as 3 weeks working with me. And most clients notice more dramatic results in the 8 – 12 week range. For hormone health / period pain clients I notice its often the 2nd period in that they experience a less painful bleed, and the 3rd is where I get the most comments that clients have been surprised by their bleed because of the lack of pain! Migraine support is much the same, improvement noticed around the 4 – 6 week mark, and surprise that they have ‘missed’ a migraine around the 10 – 12 week mark.
If the client has been diligent on their end and we don’t notice any improvement by the 6 week mark this is a good time to evaluate whether the program is effective for the client. See #1 above.
